Is it a gut feeling that you want to do DC? 31 Def is pretty solid...but then sub 40 HP, isn't. And if she's running DC, she's going to at least want one of the two good stats (Def/Res).

I'd argue the latter is better. -Spd doesn't hold one of the things she's exceptional at. You'll double a lot, lot more with it...and especially since you're taking up an A-slot with DC.
