Don't worry, the other summer banner will be male heroes in bikini.

Eh, not really. I don't really care about the boy/girl ratio. My disappointment usually lies in the fanservice. While I know "huge boobs/panty shots/show more thighs" sells to... whoever likes it, I'm usually not for it. The way they have fanserviced some of the units in this game kinda makes me avoid them, and while I know I shouldn't do it, it's hard not to.

Ishtar being an example. Didn't realize that for her to be introduced to FEH she had to carry an extra few pounds of silicone with her because, my god, the change from how she used to be to now is insane.

FEH really went all-in on the anime aesthetic, even though the artstyle of the original games wasn't really like that. I guess it's a logical step due to the fact that anime is at a peak of its popularity.

I gotta agree that the boobs (and other womanly bodyparts) are a bit too ridiculous sometimes, which is why I even never play the game in public where people could see someone like Camilla with her damaged art. I can only imagine how people would feel if they saw me summoning while I'm on the train and someone like Noire came up. FeelsBadMan

Kind of agree on the breast enlargement program IS has going on. Noire looks like she's as busty as her mother. While I'm glad she's in the game and would love to have her, they've gone a bit off model on her.

As if Ishtar wasn't enough, they took bridal tharja to the next level.
By the way though, did they give Noire the bridal tharja body treatment? I don't think she looked that way in awakening.

I'm getting quite displeased with the treatment of a lot of characters recently, and not just the females, though I find it significantly worse with the females than the males. Noire is practically not wearing anything; Linus doesn't have a shirt on for no legitimate reason. Ishtar is sticking her butt out for no reason, and she's not the only one whose poses are grotesquely oversexualized. Even Sharena - one of the first characters in the game - is wearing heels, and what kind of nonsense is it that neither her armour nor Gwendolyn's covers the loins properly? And then there is W.Tharja, who is beyond comment. The whole thing is indecent, and I find it insulting to the name of service that this gross indecency is called "fanservice." Who are they bettering by titillating the misdirected desires of people who need more real in their lives?

Linus didn't have a shirt even in Blazing blade, so his art specifically is kind of true to the original. But yeah, the girls got it bad and the anime influence is real.

It was pretty clear to me that someone high up in the design team for Fates and Heroes has a serious thigh fetish. I could understand a couple of characters having that fanservice in a game but near everyone, in Fates especially, has exposed thighs, even Kana, the 8 year old.

At least what we've seen of Three Houses suggests he's been fired.
