Given the previous round I can at make a decent guess at release date and availability.

Last year's CYL heroes got released at the end of August with the initial voting at the end of January same as this time so it'd be reasonable to expect them around the same time this year.

Also the previous CYL heroes got permanently added so again it would be reasonable to expect these ones to be as well.

True, it's safe to expect CYL 2 units get the same treatment as CYL 1 units, but because it's only ever happened once before, then I won't really have high expectations.

I'm 90% sure you can pick your free unit of the four (similar to the first CYL) and I'm 90% sure they'll be added into the regular summoning pool (like the ones previous) but I wouldn't be totally flabbergasted if it's not the case.

Upset? Oh yes. xD

One of the big questions is what the theme will be, like how last time the theme was the character's respective fathers. So this time I think the theme will be siblings, since all the CYL winners have a sibling. Hector has Marcus, Ephraim has Eirika, Veronica has Bruno, and Celica has a sibling that I won't say because of spoilers. Other than that I really don't know much about the new CYL.

I'm pretty sure Hector and Marcus (the FE6 Jeigan and FE7 budget Seth, for those who don't know) are unrelated, so unfortunately it "might" not be what happens. I do think they'll probably use variants of their weapons: Reginleif/Wolf Beil effective against cavalry/armor for Ephraim and Hector, Elivagar buffed to make it better than a PP only Spectral Tome+, and Celica... might be an actually decent healer?

While marcus isnt hectors brother, he did have one, whose name i cant remember.
He was the original marquess of ostia during the events in blazing blade.

He's a relatively unimportant character though, and never engages in combat (he has stats that were found through hacking)
