Doing Theorycraft with Windsweep B!Sanaki

Why do people assume charged specials? It's that thing to simply add numbers that makes it silly.

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but I would prefer you speak *to* me if you have an issue with the build and not in the third person.

Regardless, Zephiel is an armor, which means you can move around him and abuse the Windsweep affect anyway, so you really don’t need Luna especially since nobody runs speed on armors when the Fighter skills are amok.

Yeah, I guess the generalisation unfair. I just seemed to have a stigma towards people who estimate battles in bulk with the idea they're always coming in with a charged special. Regardless, I do feel like my attitude was somewhat uncalled for.

I apologise.

As to the actual topic, it just seemed I got carried away that I completely forgot that she's a Green...and oneshotting a mixed phase Zelgius under reverse-triangle is not so much a shabby feat on it's own. Don't know if it's worth anything, but I take you're going triple Goad over stuff like Hone Fliers as to go under his Ploy radar? I play a lot of with defensive buff stacking, which tends to include mostly Spurs and their ranged variations (supports and Drives). Tactic skills really help, since they stack them even further...

I dont think you need to backtrack and apologize to begin with.

Like....this isnt a very imaginative build build in the first place. ANY ranged flier can basically do this. Her unique tome that allows her to get more doubles is basically being wasted.

Also the presentation was bad. Mostly bec there were no RELEVANT matchups. Like......It is indeed not an easy feat to one shot a mixed phase Zelgius with this build. Mostly bec she'll end up having to fly around him getting chip damage to charge up ur special while he and his crew are armor marching up and cornering her.......... People indeed, cant just assume optimal conditions(a lone zelgius with no teamates). Good units are good bec they can power through even under bad conditions.

I have several responses to this:
1. Her tome's Spd buff is being used with her 33 boon spd, which is still subpar even for evading doubles. Also, her tome is what made her a good choice for this build as it synergizes well with Goad Fliers, and can grant her extreme Windsweep potential.

2. Perhaps I should have clarified better that this was theory craft or more importantly my purpose behind posting. I really wanted to see if there was any merit to this build as I didn't know exactly what builds to put it up against to see if it was good. In my excitement I neglected entirely to mention this, which was a mistake. Also I noticed that you said there were no relevant matchups listed and then stated that Zelgius being one shotted was "not an easy feat", which is confusing to me.

3. If she can't one shot Zelgius, then her teammates (who should always be near) can finish him off as she will not be countered. Also, I don't see how Zelgius being on the field is a "bad condition". These are armors, who have poor movement and beyond that this is assumedly arena, where the enemy is able to be baited easily and formations can be broken by one unit being defeated. If having to defeat the enemy in an order is a bad condition, then I wonder if you expect Sanaki to solo the team of armors. Also, Fliers have the best mobility in the game with access to flying utility, universal Reposition and their own dancers, one of whom runs a mean blade tome as well, so honestly her solo'ing a team would not even be surprising. Armor Emblem's flaws in movement are ignored too much. You can get around their only hope for actually hitting the enemy with Windsweep + Reposition to counter most DC units. Chip damage like this is extremely valuable, so I have to wonder why you would ignore the rest of her team entirely for her own matchups.

Regardless thank you for your response. I appreciate the feedback.

Thank you for your apology! The idea is that you take triple Goad Fliers or two of those and one Hone Fliers (which I don’t recommend necessarily because GF and NFf synergize, but if you want to run a blade tome too, then it’s there.) and take her average spd (which I’ve realized appreciates this sort of idea the best because of Windsweep +Phantom Spd as high speed likes to double more, but when you can’t secure one, it seems like a good idea to add ten and take no counter.), and use the buffs from her Weapon (as stated earlier, they synergize well) and Phantom Speed in order to Windsweep most DC armors, which Flier Emblem struggles with without a Blade Tome Desperation user. I myself run a S!Corrin with Fury/Desperation who can take out Zelgius with those combined, but if you look at her mass duel matchups (of course inconsistent) she takes a hard loss with no cooldown to three units, launch Sanaki, W!Tharja, and for some reason launch Leo. *All* other battles are either neutral or a win. Of course this doesn’t factor in those units builds, however, so the real number is foggy. With Luna she only cannot take down herself (an ironic fate).

I was just sort of fooling around, but the results sort of came out amazing to me, so I decided to post them here as my first post. Thank you again.
