Moral of the gauntlets

refering by name is good, but using the pronoun "they" is gender neutral. I.e. "They said Ike is a good unit, but I think Ryoma is better." Although some will insist that you shouldn't use it because it could be mistaken for plural, in context, almost every native english speaker recognizes they as a gender neutral pronoun. The use of he as a gender neutral pronoun can be seen as somewhat outdated and sexist.

I'm puzzled that people don't hold their flags in the final hours and try to let the other side give them a multiplier. Hold until the last hour, when there won't be a multiplier for the other side. That's why Grima lost last round, and it would probably be why if Ike loses this round.

Well, I kept saving my flags and now I won't get a chance to use them.
By the way, most people don't really care how much they are contributing to their team: they just want to get as many points as possible.
Also... This mode doesn't really incentivize teamplay. Only the last few hours really count, and being on the losing side in the last hour is actually advantageous. To be on the losing side the team should avoid getting too many points. Meanwhile, each player's individual reward escalates in proportion to how many points they have, so... Yeah.

I'm gonna assume you barely contributed to your team because every flag and point does count towards the end, especially in the final round where 400 flags will be change everything.
For a previous example, look at Ephraim v. Chrom where the was no multiplier and every player was valuable, for a more modern example look at the multiplier wins and the times where whole gaps were closed or lessened to give the players an actual fighting chance.
