Well, Sanaki's more of a flower girl than a bride, I think. I guess that's why she said not to get any bright ideas.
Ninian... yeah I dunno what they were thinking. Dancing on a horse, let alone one that's flying, is a bit... dumb.
Bride Tharja is probably the only one I'd actually 'want' if I were to summon on this banner. She's not the "fanservice" version like her normal one is.

But, evidently, it states that she's not actually a bride, but just taking on the appearance of one. And, like you said, she states it's only for the festival.
I'm just confused on why they chose *her* specifically instead of someone that could actually pass as a bride. You know, someone older.
If we're comparing Awakening Tharja to FEH Tharja, you'll see that she's nowhere near the same. FEH Tharja is showing off her body and talking to you (the summoner) in a seductive-like voice, which is really not how Awakening Tharja was. She covered her body with her tome, not showed it off like she was on America's Next Top Model.
Compared to the normal Tharja variant, I'll take W!Tharja and B!Tharja any day.
And I guess that was a fault of mine. "Fanservice" probably wasn't the correct word to use since, I guess, they're all technically fanservice, but eh.
Fine, I'll correct myself. Tharja is the least fanservicey appearance-wise, but I agree her quotes on her character page don't really fit her personality. W!Tharja's quotes fit much better with Awakening Tharja. Awakening Tharja did talk to Robin in a highly flirtatious manner though, but I wouldn't call it seductive, so it's close. Also, due to the fixed character portraits there's no way of knowing if Tharja would have removed the tome when flirting with Robin. I would assume she would remove it. Since the summoner has essentially taken the place of Robin in this game as the player avatar it makes sense that Tharja would fall for the summoner instead, as Lyn also mistakes the summoner for the tactician from Blazing Blade. We'll see how B!Tharja is though.
Well here are my thoughts
Sanaki: Sure no one can can easily say a 10 year old as a bride
Ninian: Dancing atop a horse is totally ridiculous but I'm guessing she gets down her horse to dance(probably).
Tharja: Kinda nice seeing something different from usual.
Marth: Is that some kind of cake cutting shovel???But glad he got some attention and in top of it he's free.
i'm just really excited for marth. i cant believe i'd ever say that. but i am. homeboy deserves it.
ninian (or minivan, as my phone lovingly calls her) looks amazing, too bad her stats most likely won't be good.
i'm also amazed at how..... fire emblem is good at butchering tharja's character after awakening. she's a completely different person in her original game.

While I do understand the hate for a child bride, and I am in no way condoning this behavior, I really don't see Sanaki as some sort fetish that others are seeing. I thought her being in a wedding dress is more akin to a little girl pretending that she is getting married and dressing up for the fun of it. I'm pretty sure that there are children who play pretend of this all of the time. That being said, she is the unit that I want the least and won't actively be sniping for her.
Ninian dancing on top of a horse is kinda funny and ridiculous, I'm not going to lie. (How does one even go about doing that?) Anyway, she is probably the unit that I want the most out of this banner because she has good art, a great voice actress, and is a Flying Dancer unit with an amazing default kit,
Tharja is actually wearing more clothing here than she is in her normal attire and her winter attire, which I find hilarious. She has absolutely amazing art, though!
Marth is amazing (despite having no artwork or stats available as of yet), and I'm so glad that he is the one that we will be getting for free. He's probably my most hyped unit out of the four.
I think a better title for the banner would have been Bridesmaids in Bloom. Cause that's the vibe I'm getting from each girl, "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" XD And seriously, they didn't do Dorcas's wife? XDDD I'm starting to suspect she doesn't exist! (what is he hiding? XD )
Anyway, I hate to sound like a broken record/youtuber, but I'm going to pass on this banner and save up for the next Legendary B8% banner XD Maybe I'll be able to get some of the units I'm missing, or some Armor March fodder from Amelia & Tana's BHB banner. And the swimsuit banners are sure to be coming up soon too!
