A little worried.....

That's unfortunate and I understand you don't want to lose the game with the device. I lost a phone last November and hadn't linked the account I had before to Nintendo Account = all gone, so I know the feeling.

How quickly are you going to have to wait for your new phone? I wouldn't at least advice to try to link it to your missus' device since I recall there is incompatibility between Android and iOS assets, mainly Orbs I believe?

I hope you don't lose all this time and perhaps a little break could be welcome? I managed to recover my VC account after the November disaster and I was almost a little dissappointed after the recovery, could've kicked the habit there.

Dang, that sucks you have lost an account too! I have some time before I "need" another phone, my screen just shattered and it's still usable. Just annoying :-/ I was probably going to wait until this weekend to go back into the T-Mobile store and see about replacing it. That's true that your orbs will be lost if you switch between Android and iOS, at least I don't have any orbs at the moment...lol I also feel ya about taking a break, if I lost my account a 2nd time I would definitely not be a returning playing this time around.

Me? Oh I didn't. I was talking about another game there, VC=Valkyrie Crusade. Sorry the confusion!

FEH I just rolled a new account. A couple of times. ;) Fortunately I had not been spending a lot on the old one but there were units that I still miss like Axura, great IV Nephenee and a pretty good Pineapple Prince.

My account was linked to my main e-mail address from the start. After the update situation and my account was gone, I re-entered my info and it still appeared as though it was started over again. IS couldn't give me a reason why it didn't recover properly and couldn't do anything for me. So I started a new account and linked it to a new e-mail address, and haven't had any issues since except now I need to get a new phone and link it again. Just worries me

I actually smashed my phone because of this game back in November (I was having a bad day in Arena Assault). Bought a temporary phone, redownloaded the game, linked in my account, and kept on playing. Got a new phone for Christmas and repeated the same process without any problem. You should be fine.

Wow, I do hope you're not in habit of buying expensive phones! Though I can understand that feeling, I've furiously but very carefully tossed mine into pillows on the couch! :D Hardcore, I know!

Report

Haha to be fair I only threw it on my bed, but since I almost always play with earbuds on, one of them swung over and ended up busting the LCD screen, I felt pretty bad afterwards but at least I had that phone for almost four years.

You shouldn't have any trouble as long as you've linked it. More than once, I've had to uninstall and reinstall the game to get updates to go through(first time was the 2.0 update) and I've had absolutely no problem getting my data back from the linked account.

Unless it's a transfer from IOS to Andriod or vice versa like Ihrel already said, everything should still be there. I played the game for a month when it first came out, then deleted it as I was falling behind on my College classes. Roughly a year later, or about 2 months back, my cousins from Florida came over and got me hooked on the game again. I reset the password for the account, was finally able to log in, had to factory reset my phone to install the game, but everything was there when I finally got around to playing it, plus a bunch of orb bonuses Nintendo had given out while I was gone.

I switch between my iPhone and iPad all the time. Just remember to shut down the app when you decide to switch to another device otherwise it will complain that you still have it open on another device and that you need to go back to that device. Anyway, I will sometimes switch while the other device is charging.

And when you get a message saying an update is available while you are playing, I find it safer to shutdown the app and re-open in order to install the update. This will help to avoid any potential updating issues.

Well, about 13,000 people install FEH everyday. I don't thing IS is intelligent(haha) enough to account for every single one of them. Honestly, try linking again, if it doesn't work, oh well. And yes, you can have multiple accounts linked together. My iPad and my iPhone both have the same accounts. Only thing is if you use FEH on one device, the other one will say another device was on this account or something, and all it will do is bring you back to the title screen and then you can play normally. I seriously don't know if there's any way to recover your account though.
