What did you all think of the Gunnthra situation in Chapter 7? (Story Discussion)

I don't see the problem with characters from Heroes dying when we remember that tons of classic characters are very dead like anyone from First gen Holy War or people from Blazing Sword.

Personally, I think Gunnthra from another dimension will be summoned and tell us that Fjorm was the one that was sacrificed in her dimension. And then the 2 sisters from different dimensions will cry and hug. And then Fjorm (or Gunnthra) will realize that "Gunnthra" is really not her sister because a whole bunch of stuff happened in "Gunnthra"'s dimension that didn't happen in Fjorm's reality. Like "Gunnthra" and sacrificed "Fjorm" had a Christmas tradition named Olaf or something.

I kind of agree that it really wasn't too bad that they killed off Gunnthra. It felt like a case of wasted story potential more than anything else. They also could have done a little more to explain how exactly that Surtr got ahead of them to begin with. But in the end this is only a mobile game so it's always best not to expect too much.

We were never getting he for free so she couldn't join the main party in the story, I suppose it was kind of inevitable this would have to happen. The real problem I have with the book 2 is Surtr. I felt Veronica had flat characterisation but she at least was human and possibly redeemable, now all we have 'I am strong so I will burn you' or variations of the sentiment which is already very dull. The whole invincible villain thing where every single chapter is 'Run from Surtr' is already very boring and we've months of the exact same scenario with different 'heroes' now willing helping the villain. The pathetic 'contracts' as to why you had to fight heroes at least gave a reason in book 1 but now there's no mention of it so we can assume they're helping Surtr of their own free will.
