Mist is more of a support type unit. It really just depends on your IVs as to what you’ll want to do with her. If you get really bad IVs (+def-anything), she can be good as a TT healer, otherwise she’s better off being fodder for a better healer such as Elise or Genny. Good IVs give her free range to either be full support or a chip damage healer. To make Mist really good, she needs extensive investment.

How would you make her really good, if I might ask? I'm having trouble visualizing or coming up with builds that I like for her. (Even with online unit builders.)

A guy I’m good friends with came across a super strong mist build, albeit the build was a max merge.

Let me find a screenshot and I’ll show you.

Edit: here it is. He encountered this in arena, and said it was probably the hardest fight he had in a while because on player phase she is surprisingly tanky, and on enemy phase you can’t counterattack.

Again, this is high investment, and not really practical unless you really like Mist.

That would be pretty tanky, yeah. 36/35 on being attacked, with an effective 38 speed, and Gravity+ to top it off...

Yeah, that'd be pretty awesome. I doubt I'd be able to pull that off with my hero pool (especially since my only Chill Speed went on my Olivia,) but I bet I could pull off something similar. Thanks!

Literally don’t, Mist is actual trash. There’s no hope in saving her, so don’t even try

I have her on a team with L!Ike, Soren and Nephenee so she's built specifically to support them. Kept her default Slow+ staff and gave it the "enemy cannot counterattack" refine. I rarely attack with her but if the enemy preventing doubles is ever a problem (Soren and Neph sometimes are just out of doubling range themselves, and Ike is just slow) it will seal the deal and both melee units have reposition to get her out and setup the right hero for the counter.

She also has fortress resistance, live to serve, and def/res ploy for C/S slots. And a +Res boon. So she sits at 42 res and ploys both defenses and can knock out an entire teams speed. Soren also has rally spd/res and drive spd to help the others tank magical hits and avoid/grant doubles and his Wind Brand eff refinement to debuff yet another stat. Its a chaotic setup. Debuffs are flying everywhere and its definitely an enemy phase team, but I enjoy it because I can clear almost anything with it if I think it out.

But like I said, I definitely designed Mist around the team instead of as a general support unit.
