That's tough. I think you should save up though and pass on the banner. The upcoming banners such as the legendary banner and the special heroes banner will have characters who won't show up for a long time/ever, so I would prioritize them. Besides, I'm not sure 50 orbs would definitely net you a 5 star.

If you never want above a 3%, get ready to cry more than a hormonal pre-teen. It rarely works that way.

As for the banner, I’d say weigh your priorities. If it will make your units notably better, take a chance. If not, walk away.

In my case, I am not very keen on legendary banners, so I am not going to worry about it.

Worked quite well for me. Only had one problem: christmas. Festival and december's Legendary Banner ended up with 10% pity rate. Did not expect that. On the other hand I made the most hurtful mistake I can do: summon on two banners at once.

Report

Most banners I summon on typically run about 3.25-3.5% before anything happens at the minimum. Unless I barely summon, it doesn’t change. So either you have really good luck, or you don’t summon much. Lol

Report

I finish what I started. And if I don't like the banner, I don't put any orbs into. But as soon as I have more than 3%, I go all in.

Report

Maybe a third to half of the banners. But yeah, that's why 50 orbs is much to me ; )

And my shopping fency usually stop when I pull a 5*.

Report

Lol I feel you bro. All in on some banners is very quick, all in on others is a task. LA made me rethink orb dropping after 200 got 3 pitybreakers.

Well, in my experience and religion(Islam), blindly following impatience is never the good thing. Islam states that what you will obtain in life is written down before you are born, the only part you can change is how and when you will get it. For example, there are $10,000 sitting on a table I front of you that belong to someone else. You took them, and the next day you get fired from your job, which the paycheck you would have got would be 10K. You don't take them, you keep your job and get the 10K. See what I mean? Don't waste your orbs, you'll get Ike or Takumi someday.

That's a interesting parable, thank you for sharing it with me! I'll follow your advice, I did not expect that kind of an answer and you really impressed me.

I like your train of thoughts. I try the same actually.

Additionally I do personally love to see people who see and follow the beneficial gist of their religion. I respect all religions and all they can teach me, and I especially love to learn what I did not know yet.

finally I am not the only Muslim gamer...everytime I summon I say bismillah...and start praying lol

I think I saw a Hussain on this website a few days ago...we must not be the only ones!

If u wanna use LA hector for fodder then use him for fodder...but you do realize that even with a bad iv hes still better than 80% of units right?

If you summon only summon for green imo. It has the best chance to get you a unit

Report

I know, he is great, even with -Atk. It's not like I'd fodder him soon.

Why does green have the best chance btw? I know it has the smallest 5* pool, but doesn't this only affect the individual ercentage of non-focus green 5*s? I'd be ok with any one of the focus, not only Hector.

Report

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the gacha rolls for individual units first, with the focus holding a larger chance of being rolled. It's kind of like drawing names from a hat, where some units have more slips of paper with their names on it. Then, the gacha rolls the rarity of the unit, and then displays the corresponding colored orb for said unit.
Or, does the gacha roll the rarity of a unit then the color? I'm really not sure.

Report

Ye idk about the math either....but its all but common knowledge that green is the best color to pull from. It has to do with the fact that their summoning pool isnt as diluted as the other ones.
So although getting a green orb on a summon is rarer, it works out that getting the focus unit you want is more likely (plus the pity breakers are better)

Report

My dude. If you are at 3%, never summon until you have earned 200 orbs. I'm sorry this is strict, but it will save you much pain.
