I have no clue how to react to this. I also forgot stance skills were accessible to staff units. Considering it's Mist, 36/35 split on enemy phase is insane. This guy seemed offended that Mist is regarded as the worst 5* exclusive.

This is an amazing build and I love it and I want it.

....(though I've never pulled a single Mist... last tellius unit I don't have... weep)

It was hard as hell to beat! It just wouldn’t go down!

I have a level 1+3 Mist. She’s been some kind of ultimate pity breaker for me. I ended up merging them because I didn’t know what else to do with them ? now I know exactly what to do with her!

Lol I only ever got a single Mist. She was +def-res. I crystallized her to level 40, got the conversation, and then fed her to Elise for Slow+ and Miracle. Flower power is real.

Yeah, I wanted to give her extra kick, and with that lone merge she hits 60 attack with a single hone. Sometimes I run her on the OG cavalry team for good memories, where Xander, Camus, and Reinhardt hang out, and they run 2 goads and a second hone. So with Elise, Xander can max out at 65 attack and 41 speed, Camus can max out at 61/47, Reinhardt can hit 57 attack, and Elise can max out at 68 attack to go with 43 speed, enough to oneshot a large number of units.

That is absolutely insane. 36 defense on her is one thing, but 47 resistance? Dragons can’t mess with that without getting burned! But all you gotta do is send in a hard hitter, a strong/speedy ranged unit like Brave Lyn, or a doubler with solid physical attack such as Ayra and Mist will vanish. But I will agree, that build is ridiculous since you need a unit packing at least 44 base speed (if that’s the highest you have) to double her, or multiple 37+ speed units, and that’s not considering if Mist received any speed buffs.

Gotta commend the guy on committing 5 different 5* units to Mist and then the extra 10 copies of her he pulled. That’s some whaling right there.

I know, he’d have had to go hard for that because I can only remember one banner with her in it (a TT banner). Unfortunately it was a mess to beat because I was only using Eirika who was fast enough, Nowi and Brave Ike couldn’t one shot her!

I can only imagine. I would not be thrilled, because the only unit I could use to kill her is my Ayra because she can still double Mist since she would only drop to 40 speed, 44 on initiation from swift sparrow, and at 54 attack she would hit for 18 on the first attack, 35 after Regnal Astra triggers and kills her.

I have been trying to help a lot of people out, and I do it for my own pride rather than the glory. This game can become a bit taxing after a while, and if you aren’t sure on how to move forward, it gets a bit depressing. Lol. That’s why I like helping people, because I know they appreciate it and it will build camaraderie, something you can never have enough of.

As for the shout-outs, I’ve only actually seen one person today give me a shout-out like that, but one is more than enough for me because that can let others know that I want to help and that my advice is not bad. Reputation goes a long way.

Yeah, I always appreciate the love, and the only hate I typically get is from Poofinator, and I don’t even understand why. I don’t know if he thinks it’s funny or if he just really feels the need to dislike everything I say, but it gets annoying because it makes me wonder if I did something wrong to him or something.

Overall, it’s people like you that keep me coming here. For as long as I am wanted here, I would be here.

Are you sure it's Poofinator following you around and disliking your comments? I've never actually seen him actually show animosity towards you. Did he outright tell you?

There was a time where he was disliking every comment I made (and Alethia’s as well) during the Sacred Memories banner fiasco I was caught up in. I would not put it past him to continue doing so, especially after the Grima v. Fallen Celica issue that popped up when I got triggered by a sore winner after Zelgius lost and went Fallen Celica for that reason.

There’s only one other person I have had an issue with in the past couple months, and I made it pretty clear to them to stay away from me after they tried to constantly undermine the advice I was giving (you probably remember that night).

She 'only' has 41 Res, because Steady Stance doesn't increase Res. You could switch it for Close Def (in A and S), but then she's weaker to ranged attacks.

Anyway, the dragons will attack her defense, since she's a ranged unit, so adding Close Range Res is pointless, unless your name is Azama or Boey.

He has CD3 in S because there's no Steady Stance S Seal available.

My take on these low tier/high investment builds is to ask if Mist does it better than anyone else.

Mist here is +A/-R. You could get a +S/-R Genny, she would be +4 Atk, +1 Spd, +1 Def, -7 Hp.

Is the loss of all those stats worth the 7 Hp? Or is Mist better off running L2S, maybe Windboost, and trying to stay alive?

Or maybe run Atk/Spd Stance (when that comes out) together with Dull Ranged, Distant Def in S, to make her into decent mage/ranged bait. This would give her Genny's Atk (35), and +3 Spd (32), on EP, (preventing some more doubles) together with those 7 Hp making her tankier against both ranged and close threats.
