Unless you use a unit that doesn't use Vantage or Desperation and you use it as a counter to those that have Vantage and Desperation. I must say that Hardy Bearing saved my ass a couple of times in AA
Hardy Bearing is kind of awesome on a Renewal Micaiah tho. It just ensures her kills on DC armor and cavalry units without needing close counters + vantage.
I've found it good when I equip it to a slow mage like Hector's Daughter or Miciah since they could attack during destination and can hit through vantage.
