How is Green Sniping going for y'all?

I hate sniping, but I hate green sniping even more. Half of the time you're not even getting green orbs, so you have to settle for something else with the chance of getting pity-broken by a unit that's of a completely different color.

Green is the best colour to snipe statistically.
The reason that you see less green orbs is because there are less 3-4 star green units than there are in any other colour. However, the chances of getting a green focus unit in any particular orb are the same as the chances of getting any other colour focus unit.

If you see no green orbs, then you wouldn't have gotten the green unit anyway, and can go for your second best choice, and don't have to spend more than 5 orbs trying to get them. Whereas a set of 5 greens for instance would also not have the focus, but you'd need to pay 20 orbs to check them all.

The units are decided when you first pay the 5 orbs, and the colour of the orbs are just showing you the colour of what's under them.

We all know how it works.

Doesn't make an off colour/off banner pity breaker any better.

Green sucks.

It also doesn't make it worse, a pity breaker is a pity breaker regardless of the color.

I'd argue a 5* Peri aiming for a green unit feels a lot worse than Hawkeye.

Yeah, we pretty much know how it works. They're already predetermined once you pay the 5 orbs. Just like everything else in this game, it's random if you get a green orb or not. Understanding how it works doesn't make it any less annoying that half of the time when I'm summoning for green units, I'm not getting a single green orb.

I don’t snipe, ever. It doesn’t ever bode well. I’ve only ever sniped 2 times, for focus units, and it never ended well. I just pull whatever colors are presented.

So far I’ve pulled 35 orbs and have gotten a Hinoka. But it was in the first slate, so no pitybreaker was there.

Hmm. I only snipe after getting the rates high enough, and usually just green since it shows up less. If I go back to the banner later this month tho, I'd choose both green and colorless in case I could get our precious boy Roy. :)

Glad to hear you got a Hinoka! I have yet to pull one. Her refinement looks fantastic!

Somehow the 2nd 5 star I got was VA Hector, first one was VA Roy.

Well, I got a Lilina, Hector and Myrrh, so I guess I can't complain. Also, the new Myrrh came home with +Def/-HP, so I'm pretty happy to have this new Myrrh.

First she has Def bane, then neutral Def and now Def boon. Her story relates to my Shiro who's been through that first! Seriously, it's like, I want that unit with a particular boon. Get a bane. Fk. Pull a second one. I'm okay with it for the time being... non-focus summon... BAM! Get a desired boon with a decent bane.

I'll take it. :v

But yeah, both Shiro and Myrrh are +Def/-HP.

Now... my Hector came home with +Res/-Def... not sure if want, but... that Berserk Armads, doh. And his daughter came home as +HP/-Atk, so I'll just fodder her off for her Atk Tactic skill.

Ye i got hawkeye after like 60 orbs. Ima snipe green untill i get either of them then ill call it quits even of i dont get hector

Pulling green + blue, wanting Hector > Lyn > Lilina

Pulled Lilina + Roy in a summon (guess he didn't want his gf to be alone), sadly Lilina is -spd :/

Over 100 orbs later I pulled a Micaiah, since I already have one with better IVs, she will probably die for Distant Defense. At least better than the Camilla I got instead of Myrrh.

180orbs in now, will try to get either Lyn or Hector since there still orbs to come

In around 80 orbs sniping green + blue I've gotten a bunch of 4^ Nowis, an Odin, some greens that I no longer care about after a run of bad luck during the New Year banner, and 2 bad IV (+Spd/-Def and +HP/-Att) LAHectors

I got a neutral Minerva and a Nephenee(no green options), so can't be too upset I suppose, especially since I only had 100 orbs.

Fae, Lilina, Dorcas, Lilina, then final Yolo pull Hector (after ALOT of praying and using my last orbs)

Four copies of Lilina, and nothing else from the banner. She's the one I wanted least; I want Lyn because I love her and want her in all her versions; I want Hector, because obviously; and I want Roy for Bow Valor. The Roy, I'd happy take bad IVs on; I just want him for grinding archers.

Insofar as generic breakers, 5-star versions of Nephenee, Shiro, Peri, Sothe and Mathilda, all with bad IVs. And a Linde, +Atk/-HP; but I already have Linde +Spd/-HP, so not something I was really in need of.

Overall, I'd say this is the worst banner I've ever pulled on.

Spent 40 orbs and I got two daddy hectors. One was -Attack +Speed and the other one was +Defense -Resistance. I don’t think I need to pull on this banner anymore HAHAHA

I blew through all my saved orbs basically trying to snipe Myrrh and B!Ike and failed. I've spent 20-30 orbs aniping green on this banner and got 2 Hectors already. It's funny how that works sometimes.
