Ah yeah, KageroChart doesn't use QP correctly I think at the Battle Simulator I think, look if is that.

i just made rein's moonbow cooldown 1 and put no seal. i think that fixes the issue but im not sure. (the results stay the same as i did the original test with moonbow cooldown set at 1 and no seal on rein)

Another addition... At minimum, Eirika needs to be +6 with this build and these ivs (+atk -res) to survive rein's moonbow qp with 1 HP. If Eirika is is +Atk -HP she needs to be +3 to survive with 1 HP. If -Def she needs to be +2 with this build to survive with 1 HP.

As far as I know it should. In my experience (neutral Rein with deathblow 3 and cavalry attack buffs) he often can't kill with the first hit and relies on the second. Thus the Deflect Magic will really mess him over, since it will always proc on him. It takes away enough damage that he can't actually manage to kill many of the characters he used to be able to. It may be different with +ATK and Attack +3 Sacred Seal, but as far as I know that seal is pretty much his most dreaded counter.

Also, not particularly relevant, but, Rein doesn't gain much from +10 or Summoner Support, since those improve a character's overall stats, and he only relies on his ATK. Eirika is a lot better with +10 and support since she finds all her stats useful.

yeah im aware of that. this session was basically me trying to find unconventional rein counters/survivors that are pretty budget characters. Rein didn't have summoner support in this, but did have +ATK ivs

The takeaway isn't that Eirika is underrated but that the Deflect Magic 3 seal has made a mountain of units viable again.

Hmm yeah i guess. I did keep messing around and i think i settled on a +Atk -Def Eirika w/o DC but instead Distant Def 3 as the A skill. that should keep her alive against most archers that arent using brave bow or have ridiculously high spd. Also w/o DC he deflect magic will always proc if she recieves multiple attacks
