We are all fucked for the arena
Answers
I'm actually really hyped for this banner. I tried for the longest time to get Ninian in the hopes of obtaining my first dancer (I have a 3-star neutral Olivia, but I've been focusing on other heroes), and over 20 summons later, no luck. I was hoping for a red, honestly, but even so, I'm far from disappointed with these upcoming units.

I honestly think dancers are the most enjoyable part of Arena for me, without them, it feels quite brainless with my team set up.
I think new dancers are definitely threatening though, they'll take a huge hit to their BST but they'll have access to Blade Tomes, Debuffs, and a Legendary weapon now. Even if their stats are garbage, they'll still have a strong offensive presence for the AI.
But as Cav said, it's not like it's really going to change all that much, we already have 3 dancers, one of them is super common, and dancer spam isn't really a thing at all.
I don't think they'll be anymore threatening than what we have already since Dance/Sing is their most impactful skill in Arena defence anyways.
As for which dancer I want, I need Azura no matter what, Sing/Rally Spectrum is OP, along with the fact she gets more Arena weighting due to her Legendary Weapon. Everyone else depends on their stats.
I think I need at least one Olivia for her weapon since I want to give it to Waifu Felicia.
Edit: Oh, and Olivia has access to Poison Dagger.

I have a feeling everyone wants Azura between that legendary weapon and her being green. The interesting issue that could raise though is if you are carrying her as your green, who is your green damage dealer? Right now when people use Olivia, they design her specifically to deal with Hector. Is Dark Azura going to really be your Reinhardt counter?
I think my order is the same: Azura, the kids, and then Olivia as throwing weapons haven't been viable for some time.

Yeah, kind of agree with this. Unless you need Azura to deal with greens as well, TA will more than suffice. And don't forget that Legendary weapons are 16 Mt, if she even has the same attack as the regular one, she'll still hit very hard.
I have a Brave Ike who can tank Black Luna from Black Knight, yet all he does is fight blues anyways. That extra perk really does nothing for him. I think that's how it is for most people as well.

Here's the issue though:
First off, remember you can't count on what the bonus units will be outside the starter units, so you always have to think of what you're working with in a 3-man team. So say for instance you're running your Reinhardt, Green Azura, and whatever red unit up against a team with Nino, a dancer, maybe a Reinhardt of their own, and whatever other unit. Normally you could bait both Nino and Reinhardt with a good green magic tank like say Julia or Fae, but your green unit is Azura, so now you need to try to get your Reinhardt to attack theirs without getting within Nino's range or your red unit to get Nino without getting within Reinhardt's range, which btw with a dancer is practically the whole map. Nino/Reinhardt/dancer is a fairly common defense comp I run into btw, and it's one of the biggest paints in the butt.
I guess you could stick her in common Blade tome comps in place of E&E, so that could work. I have never run those on offense just because I haven't had the units for it. I would have thought Blade Tome comps like that though were difficult to run with so many Brave Lyns running around.
Just my two cents. I never have carried dancers in Arena offense because it's too difficult to come up with a two character combo that can handle every threat. I think Dark Azura is going to be amazing for defensive teams where you can forego bonus units. I'm less convinced about using her on attack.

Well, Reinhardt can only do a maximum of 36 (from a 60 attack Reinhardt) damage times 2 plus Moonbow against greens with TA, which gets cut down by another 30% on defensive tiles. So as long as her resistance isn't abysmal, she can still bait Rein and kill him on player phase.
You also have to remember that you have a Sing and most likely 2 Repositions, which makes it very easy to move around to get in and out.
I personally run an enemy phase team comp right now that can't bait Reinhardt at all and it's actually no big deal.
I honestly think it's a matter of playstyle and team composition. I used to run Olivia, Reinhardt, and Cherche, so I'm used to a player phase playstyle of pulling units with the opposite colour and nuking or pulling hit and runs on them during player phase.
But, I obviously see your point, I found it so hard to switch from using Olivia and Cherche to BK and Greil, basically polar opposites in their respective roles. So I understand how it's difficult to go from a defensive playstyle to aggressive as well.
But if you are wondering about the two unit combo, Ruby Olivia, Bowbreaker Rein, and Brave Cherche can reliably kill everything with little to no issues. It just sucks they provide so little Arena weighting.
These three were my go to for everything. GBH, TT, Arena, and Chain Challenge, only Squad Assault and Arena Assault ruined their reign.

That was my first thought too with Olivia with possible Poison Dagger. Lets see what their stats become. But i highly guess Azura get her same old Style stats maybe incrased BST of 2-3.
Olivia could actually get normal atk 30~ spd30~ Shigure looks like to be fast and Inigo more bulky.

Honestly, if Felicia can ORKO most infantry units, I'm sure Olivia will be fine, whatever her stats.
Although, the main reason I think it's strong is because she's mainly a dancer anyways, so the lack of damage against non-infantry won't matter, unlike Kagero who's a pure offensive unit.
So basically to Olivia, it's just free damage.

I never got Azura, so my target is green pull, if i ever get her, then i will be thinking about other options. And i think she can take nice position as blue check honestly. I just hope she has good stats (i would be hoping for good res and def with average atk, but thats me, so i can make her anti-blue wall and buffer and dancer at once, pretty neat option imo)

I've encountered 2 dancer + Linde and Nino team long before this, it was great enough hell, I guess, I'll face that kind of team more often, but, whatever
I want the Azura, obviously, but, she's green, and according to my luck, colorless is somehow a better hell than green, I can't stop the Cherce, Bartre, Merric hordes, ugh
Anyway, they sure made some interesting moves. I wonder how useful will be those dancer buffs skills compared to the usual WoM

Honestly I think we'll just see Azura + Blade tome combos again as its nice to be able to make them deadlier on a sing turn if you don't run Eirika or Ephraim.
Personally I want them all maybe bar shigure but Olivia will be interesting for because if she has some decent attack (like 32 I pray) then she'll be a great poison dagger unit I feel, not the best offensively but the ability to dance as well I feel would make her great. Aka I'm praying for the good attack and speed here.

I've met a few Rein 10 Cec 10 double dancer teams and on no defense tile weeks you just die. I only have a +10 nino so. She can only counter one +10 horse on defense. Generally I get around it by baiting one and attacking the other to oneshot but with double dancer it isn't an option.

The snide comment was appreciated but I have a concussion and frequent migraines from a car accident so I can never stay in tier 20 anyway! :) I just go from 19 to 20 and back again. Also my offense pulls are almost entirely based on my single +10 Nino because my team is so wildly unbalanced. Whether it's amelia or hotfred as my bonus it's Nino who decides what hell I get myself into.
