That’s actually +Atk/-Hp. You can give him Def or Atk Wave to take advantage of his high Atk/Def. Or you can go for a OHKO build consisting of Death Blow 3 and Atk Wave. Desperation could be needed.

Looks hot. Though it might suffer from the fact that there's no instant ignis.
Maybe with slaying+bonfire he could do something similair, but instant.

Another build I had in mind is this, less special blasting and more surviving attacks

Yes Null-Follow Up would help him a lot, for a unit like BK/Zelgius with a powerfull Special preventing that Bold Fighter would help him since BL will add another 26 (28 with fury) damage on top of the damage they do which an unmerged BK has 50 Atk w/out any skill effecting his attack, his BL alone would kill you Leif cuz it would do 17+26=43 with Fury 14+28=42 on top of the 17(14) initial damage from a basic attack from him. So Null-Follow up would help him a lot in this scenario, tho if BK has that special charged it's not helping you

This build would also help him be a very good non-Blue Tank killer since they won't do quite as much damage with his 47 Def on EP and prevents Special's and allowing him to fire off 23 damage Bonfires if they have Bold Fighter though requires a Surtr to pull off it would definitely make him unique compared to a lot of the fast sword units, Chill res is for units that have good mix bulk so that he can still deal the extra 7 damage to them if their res is only 2 more than their Def since it will bring their res down just enough

So what about the build I posted above, with the null follow-up
One designed to be able to bait in most red and green units by stopping all sorts of doubles and then healing in time before he's killed by multiple hits.

Not sure how I feel about the steady stance build. The +8 def is nice, but he'll only use the guard effect agaist bold fighter, since he'll rarely be doubled.
And a chill skill seems to be more for a support focused unit.

The +8 Def is to help his bulk more since a lot of unit's can kill him with ease especially with -Hp and if they double him without it, the Guard effect is an added bonus for units that can double him or that can live through his attacks since they wouldn't get their special charged, Chill Res on him isn't a bad idea since it synergies well with his Sword though only for mixed mulk units if a unit has 40 res but 15 Def it would mean nothing but at that point he would easily kill them anyways. And the problem with Aether SB is that you would want the enemy to double you to trigger it that turn and with null-follow up units that wouldn't normally double you wouldn't be able to activate Aether leading a dancer to come in and allow them to hit you again for a possible death to him
