Yeah, Seth is just insane in his home game.
I think Xander is also a unit like this. He's pretty much your best cavalier in fates, with his OP sword. But here he's lackluster.
I do think a skill like steady stance 4 has improved him a lot, but he's still not on the level of Fates Xander.
You can also make a case for Berkut. He wasn't playable, but as a boss he's was pretty badass.
We can hope that Seth gets a decent weapon with a huge refine, and for Xander a Refine that makes him the tank he always has been in Fates. As for Berkut i can't really say. Maybe the weapon he has during the last chapter of Echoes could be good, but i'd see that more in a Fallen Berkut kind of unit
I really hope the DC weapons will get a refine. With better weapons nowadays, not having another effect does hurt somewhat, especially for Xander and Camus who can't run steady breath.
Seth of course needs a refine. The fact that Palla got the gem weapon effect made me happy, since it lowers the chance somewhat that he'll get it.
Kriemhild in echoes is a weapon focussed on a lot of defence stacking. If he gets a weapon that's situationally DC like golden dagger with a def/res boost added to it, it'll be perfect.
Though I wouldn't mind fallen Berkut instead.
Just because Palla got the gem weapon doesn't mean Seth or anybody else who has a gem weapon are gonna have a chance for something different. In fact, this shows that these units will have a higher chance on receiving TA weapon. IS only gives something unique to a selective few, while everybody else gets a copy or a simple refine.
Its sad really because who is even using Seth now? I can only see the dedicated fans using him over better choices. If Seth gets a TA weapon refine, this will not help anybody have any type of interest or motivation to using/building him up. He will probably stay in the exact spot that he is on now just like Palla.
