Ephraim won the Choose Your Legends this year, and Eirika was in the top 10. They're some of the most popular units in the franchise, and so of course IS is gunna milk that for all it's worth. From a business perspective, they'd be stupid not to.
Yeesh why cant we get a seasonal that is not an alt? Like for the first Bridal banner we got Charlotte and that is the only time she has appeared. Why need new characters into this game not another Eirika and Ephraim.
