Saving summer units with bad banes - on a budget

Hmm..
I can think of some stuff for Innes, but I really think you should concider switching out his weapon and B skill.

You're gonna want to make use out of his great allround statline, instead of trying to salvage his spd.

Well, this is budget in the sense of 'doesn't cost you any 5* only units'
But it will take at least a joshua to build.

If you happen to have a healer on your team, you can run the cheaper fury instead.
Bonds are also neat. He would be able to run dual atk/def bond, if you don't mind that he can't fight dragons that well.

The main boon of this build over doing the same for Michalis is that Innes doesn't have to worry about getting destroyed by doubles. Doubles that will likely proc the special of the attacker.

Hmmm I wasn't playing yet on Joshua's introduction banner, so I've got only one copy of him from that TT where old units got rerun. I honestly don't like the idea of using grails here very much

I also don't, so it was just an idea.
His A skill is just hard.

The other way to go is full offence of course,
That would be cheaper even if it feels like that build just a lesser version of a good Innes.

So, something like this.
With again, a few options for the A slot.
Swift Sparrow would be ideal, but darting blow, L&D or Fury are all options.

You could maaybe keep his base B skill, it's not as needed as the QR. But I still favor desperation

I got two, actually, just recently, pulling for Ylgr minutes before her banner ended.

One has bad IVs and will sere to inherit SB and Aether from a single Bike.

The other has pretty much perfect IVs, +atk -spd, so I'm keeping him and I'll use him as a AA check

Adult Summer Tiki-
Double CD3 (A+Seal) and a breaker/team support option. Maybe even QR2. Probably safer to go with a def refine and use Bonfire.

S Innes-
Darting Blow + Darting Stance seal should help. He's still pretty quick with a speed bane. A speed refine would help patch it up too. If not, a def refine wouldn't be bad either. C would be team support option (Fort flyers?, Goad Flyers?, Threaten Def/Threaten speed)

Tiki is easy. With that boon she has a pair of huge... defense stats. Just give her the CD3 seal and QR2. I use her all the time as a support unit when leveling up other Axe units for her C skill. Her weapon is crap, so if you have the resources give her a Slaying Axe, probably +Def or +Res.

Innes... Why not the classic Fury/Desperation? His speed is adequate, 37 with Fury. Especially if he gets some flier buffs, he will be getting a lot of doubles. Most of the fastest units are swords, and he can't really be messing with fast swords anyway, so don't worry about the speed bane.

I like the CD6 + QR build, athough I'm slightly bothered by not maxing out the B skill, even though it saves me 20K feathers... but then you suggest switching weapons, wich would cost me 20K feathers too? I'm a bit confused TBH.

Fury/desperation seems great, but sadly I have a very small stock of those skills (2/3 copies) and I'd rather save them for someone who would use them better (I'm thinking about Catria or someone like that)

It all depends on what you have and how you want to prioritize your resources.

To give a unit QR3 vs QR2, you are spending 20k feathers to give the skill a 70% HP threshold vs an 80% threshold. It might give you a few extra KO's, but I find this is generally negligible and you can deal with it. The main purpose for upgrading to QR3 is usually just to max out your arena score. Plus, QR3 is one of the most in demand skills in the game and most people don't have much fodder just lying around.

When you give a unit a new weapon, it can completely change how they perform. This is why I recommend prioritizing a new weapon over QR3. Plus there are many choices. Perhaps you pulled a 5* Libra pity breaker you didn't want or have a 5* Amelia, she has been powercrept and is massively outperformed by the many Hectors and new axe armors.
