What exactly would you be foddering off of him? Personally, (if it is the sword) the Brave weapons lack the luster they have in the other games.

*On PoR: Mia + Brave Sword = No dmg taken and ×4 before Astra*

Combat manuals can be used for adding merges as well as skill fodder.
Still, Ogma has Sol and other skill i forgot about.

Since your ogma is +atk I’d go with the effect refine(for 4 more atk)

Deathblow3/4
Sword breaker3
Odd atk wave3

As with his neutral speed of 34 he isn’t going to be reaching reliable doubling speeds without massive amounts of team support. So I’d opt for a antisword role and then just buff his atk through the roof and then rely on Aether for the sustain and kills.
