If you check out the patch notes on the FEH announcement board, it says that they're basically alternating Legendary and Mythic heroes from now on -- so the next Mythic will be January I think.
It also says Eir will be back on this month's legendary banner. And Mythics will be essentially treated like Legendaries, only summonable in those events.

Well, I wouldn't say they powercreeped Legendary Heroes since the Mythic Heroes only grant buffs in Aether Raids as I understood it. So it doesn't have any impact on Arena.
