Surtr: Def or Res

If you don't care about arena core, then the +res is better.
Surtr's biggest weakness is gangups from mages and dragons, so boosting his res is a great idea. Especially for wary fighter and/or DC.

If you do care about arena score, ten +def -res will score better though
